Meeting my teacher - Prof Sanjay Bakshi

Professor Sanjay Bakshi has been kind enough to accomodate my request and let me attend the guest lecture by Mohnish Pabrai at MDI- Gurgaon. Professor Bakshi teaches Behavioral Finance and Business Valuations (BFBV) at MDI. His blogs are a great source of learning for any aspiring value investor. Mohnish Pabrai, a renowned value investor and philanthropist delivered a talk on value investing. The best part of the lecture was when Mohnish describes how the value investing philosophy has been ingrained in his day to day life and how it has shaped up his philanthropic activity. He runs Dakshana a NOT FOR PROFIT venture which aims at spotting the brightest students about the poorest sections of the country and train them for the prestigious IIT-JEE entrance examination. The lecture can be viewed here.(Link) Its a memorable experience meeting these legends and I thank Prof Sanjay Bakshi from the bottom of my heart for giving me this opportunity.
